Robins & Morton completes Redstone Gateway 300 building

Construction firm Robins & Morton has completed another large-scale project in Huntsville.

The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, on Redstone Arsenal – or the Redstone Gateway 300 building – opened Jan. 9.

It’s the fifth multi-story tilt-wall building built by Robins & Morton in the office park since 2020. The Redstone Gateway 8100 building was completed last August.

Robins & Morton served as the general contractor, and Nola Van Peursem Architects was the architect.

The three-story building, located on Secured Gateway, has 200,000 square feet of Class A office space and a 15,000-square-foot warehouse with concrete tilt wall panels.

It will center the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center in one location.

The facility has private and open office areas, collaborative spaces, a large training room which can be divided into four separate rooms, a dining area, fitness center and conference room.

This building serves as a conference and collaboration hub for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

“We are grateful for our longstanding partnership with COPT Defense Properties and the opportunity to build this project that will serve the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,” Senior Superintendent Brendan Kenny said. “It’s been exciting to support the growth of Redstone Gateway since 2010, and we look forward to its continued growth in the future.”
