Reward offered in shooting outside Tuskegee store that killed 1, wounded 3

A reward is being offered for information in a shooting outside a Tuskegee convenience store that left one person dead, and three others injured.

The shooting happened about 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, outside Josh Store on East Martin Luther King Highway.

Tuskegee police arrived at the store to find four gunshot victims.

Kendarius Beason, 26, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The other victims were taken to the hospital, two of them critically wounded.

No arrests have been made.

Central Alabama Crime Stoppers on Wednesday announced a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 334-215-STOP or -833-AL1-STOP. Tips can also be submitted via the agency’s P3-tips app.
