Return of a hometown star, new promotions highlight upcoming Trash Pandas homestand
After 12 games on the road, the Trash Pandas have landed back in Rocket City.
The Biloxi Shuckers will head to Madison for a series beginning on Tuesday, with the six-game stretch highlighted by promotional giveaways and events at Toyota Field.
All games will be at 6:35 p.m. before a 2:35 p.m. first pitch on Sunday in the final game of the homestand.

Familiar face coming home
While being transferred to Rocket City during the team’s road series against Chattanooga, a hometown product is set to return to Madison.
Former Bob Jones High star Mitchell Daly has started at third base for the Trash Pandas at third base in the last four games after being transferred from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Daly signed with the Los Angeles Angels organization in July of 2024 after playing 245 games across four seasons of college baseball at Texas and Kentucky; he spent his last year with the Wildcats, helping lead the program to its first College World Series appearance.
During his time at Bob Jones, the former Patriots shortstop was a two-time all-state selection and started four years; Daly was also the starting quarterback for the football team.
Promotional giveaways
Harry Potter night will be coming to Toyota Field on Saturday, with the first 1,000 fans in attendance receiving a free cooler bag; this marks one of three giveaways during the homestand.
Sunday’s game is highlighted by the return of the Lunáticos Sugar Skull Bobblehead, which will be given out to the first 1,500 fans in attendance for the 2:35 p.m. first pitch.
Thursday’s night will also have a very limited t-shirt giveaway commemorating the event that encourages fans to bring their cats to the game.
Bring your pets
The Trash Pandas are offering two chances to bring your furry friends to the ballpark this weekend.
Wednesday’s game will feature Tito’s Dog Days, with fans able to bring their dogs and sit in sections 1 and 2 or on the grass; waivers will be at the Pepsi Gates, with a $1 going to the Sartec K-9 Unit for each dog. Dogs will also receive a free pup cup treat for being in attendance.
The following day features “Take MEOW’t to the Ballpark Cat Night,” with fans encouraged to bring their cats on a leash or in a carrying bag. Fans who arrive early will also receive a special cat night shirt.
Throwback Thursday
Along with cat night on Thursday, the Trash Pandas will be offering $3 domestic draft beers at concessions stands across the ballpark for its Throwback Thursday promotions.
The team will also wear its signature throwback pinstripe uniforms for this promotion, which is every Thursday at Toyota Field.
