Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at about 7:03 a.m. for a report of commercial building fire. The District 2 chief was first on scene and found multiple vehicles on fire behind a warehouse. He also said power lines were down in the area.
According to a news release, crews established a water supply and extinguished the fire. Palettes of pool chlorine material at the scene were reacting with water, and Hazmat 15 was dispatched to the scene.

Mobile Police officers are assisting with traffic near the fire and on westbound Interstate 10 between Highway 90 and Theodore Dawes for an accident involving a semi-truck that was carrying chlorine. Police are asking drivers to avoid both areas while crews continue to work these incidents.
