Alabama linebacker Kendrick Blackshire has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple reports.

Blackshire, a four-star recruit in the Crimson Tide’s 2021 signing class, has one season of eligibility remaining, plus a redshirt year if needed. The Duncanville, Texas, native has played mostly on special teams the last three seasons, totaling 25 tackles with two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 24 career games.

Blackshire is the 17th Alabama player to enter the transfer portal since the end of the regular season and the second linebacker. Fellow linebacker Ian Jackson, a redshirt sophomore, entered the portal last Thursday.
