Report: Terrion Arnold to enter NFL Draft, forego Alabama football eligibility
Terrion Arnold is going pro. The Alabama football defensive back revealed to Alabama coaches that he will be leaving Tuscaloosa for the NFL Draft.
ESPN’s Chris Low reported the news on Thursday afternoon, also revealing that Kool-Aid McKinstry will opt for the NFL. Meanwhile, starting nickel cornerback Malachi Moore and middle linebacker Deontae Lawson will return for an extra year.
The report comes one day after Arnold said he met with UA coach Nick Saban to discuss his future.
Arnold led Alabama with five interceptions and 17 passes defended and was tied for fourth in tackles (63.0). He was an emotional player on the field and face of the team off it, developing a bond with Miss Terry and popularizing the “LANK” catchphrase with Jalen Milroe.
