Former Alabama outfielder Andrew Pinckney has signed with the Washington Nationals after being selected in the fourth round of the 2023 MLB draft last week, according to MLB Pipeline’s Jim Callis.

Pinckney, the No. 102 overall pick in the draft, will receive a signing bonus of $500,000, Callis reported. The slot value of that pick was $660,000.

Pinckney, a redshirt junior from Peachtree City, Ga., batted .339/.442/.648 in 64 games for the Crimson Tide this past season. He led the Alabama team with 12 doubles and 151 total bases in 2023, and was second in runs (55), home runs (18) and RBIs (58).
