A person was shot and killed on Schillinger Road in Semmes on Friday night, WKRG reported.

The shooting happened at 3700 Schillinger Road North about 7:30 p.m., Semmes Police Chief Todd Freind said, according to WKRG.

A suspect is in custody and the Mobile County sheriff’s office is investigating.
