Recycling company pays big bucks for property

AT Recycling paid $3.3 million for a 37,782-square-foot office building at 5060 Commerce Park Circle in Pensacola, FL., according to Kyle Knight and Darryl Bonner of Stirling Properties, who represented the seller. AT Recycling plans to hire 40 employees at the new location.

Construction is almost complete at GulfGate Boat & RV Storage near Ala. 59 and Baldwin County 32 in Summerdale, according to Alla Nikitina of Ryals Realty. A group of local investors paid $250,000 for the 6.5 acre-site and the 70,000-square-foot, covered storage facility is scheduled to open next month. The investors also plan to build a storage facility on U.S. 98 in  Elberta after purchasing 3 acres for $150,000, according to Nikitina, who represents the group.

Out-of-state developers purchased 8.99 acres at 5464 S. Norden Drive, in Mobile for $165,000,  and plan to build homes in the 15-lot subdivision, according to Pratt Thomas of Merrill P. Thomas Co., who handled the transaction. The bank-owned property is in Cosgrove subdivision in the Village of Springhill community and was partially completed.

Shaka Nutrition has leased 1,000 square feet of space at 7251 Theodore Dawes Road in Theodore, according to Angie and Kaelan McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord.

Library Consultants has leased 1,208 square feet of office space at 1110 Montlimar Drive in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling Properties, who represented the tenant. Tommy Gleason of CRE Mobile worked for the landlord.

Tropic Hideaway RV Park at OWA is scheduled to open in the spring 2023 off Pride Boulevard  in Foley. The 190-lot luxury RV resort will feature pickleball courts, pool and clubhouse. OWA Parks & Resort features a theme park, an indoor water park, live entertainment, shops and restaurants.
