Recruit dresses his baby in USC Trojans gear to announce college commitment
Well, there’s something you don’t see every day.
Ryan Pellum, a 2024 four-star wide receiver, bypassed your traditional hat selection Monday to go with something a little more personal when committing to his university of choice.
He fitted his newborn baby in USC Trojans gear to announce his decision on Monday.
Pellum, the Long Beach, Calif. native had Southern Cal and Oregon in his final two, had hats in front of him but didn’t use them. Instead, he picked up his baby and revealed a USC Fight On symbol on the onesie the child was wearing.
Pellum, a 5-foot-11, 170 pounds recruit, is the 14th best wide receiver in the country for the Class of 2024, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
