Reckon partners with MeToo, Know Your IX during Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Over the coming weeks, Reckon, in collaboration with MeToo and Know Your IX will collaborate on op-eds and social posts about the importance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
We will share, support and post expert opinions on not only sexual violence but its impact on Black survivors and the current state of Title IX for student organizers on the frontlines.
We’re kicking it all off with newsletter coverage and social posts with both organizations and their leading voices speaking to the reality of survivor advocacy.
Join MeToo’s #WhatsAtStake: A Panel on Sexual Violence as a Public Health Crisis on April 25 at 5:30 p.m. E.T. This conversation will be moderated by MeToo’s Dani Ayers and serve as an opportunity to learn from experts in public health, education and survivor justice.
You can also join Know Your IX’s month-long series of events and trainings about Title IX rule legislation and how students are working to push the Biden administration to listen to the voices of student survivors.
We hope you tap in to hear about just how critical shifting mindset about sexual violence survivor sovereignty and the ways that sexual violence impacts public health are critical to addressing the root of system that impact us every day.
