Today is National Hot Dog Day and I do love a good hot dog, that’s a fact.

Usually I eat them plain – with mustard and, if I’m feeling extra special sporty, ketchup. When I feel like putting on the dog I like to gild the lily a bit with some homemade chili sauce.

Here is a recipe that I’ve had for a spell. It’s not mine but I’m not sure where it originated.

So celebrate accordingly and with impunity.
