AL.com readers have selected Mobile Christian’s Damien Gatson as their choice for Press-Register Player of the Year in Coastal Alabama.

Gatson, who led the Leopards to the Class 5A championship series, received 25 percent of the vote from the eligible “Terrific 22″ players from the Mobile area honored for their play in the 2024 season.
