Ramsay 3-star linebacker QB Reese commits to Alabama
Alabama collected its 20th commitment for the Class of 2024 on Saturday night from Ramsay linebacker Quinton “QB” Reese.
The 6-foot, 205-pound Reese is a 3-star prospect.
He’s the third linebacker in this Crimson Tide class.
Reese picked up his Alabama offer last month.
As a junior a year ago, Reese helped the Rams to the Class 5A state championship. He finished the season with a team-best 155 tackles, including 24 tackles-for-loss, five sacks and four interceptions. He was selected Class 6A first team all-state.
On Friday night, he helped his Rams knock off No. 1 Pleasant Grove 49-17.
Reese is the son of former four-year letterman Auburn linebacker Quinton Reese, who was an All-State performer at Birmingham’s West End High School. His mom is Rashida Reese.
Reese is the ninth 2024 in-state commit joining Clay-Chalkville ATH Jaylen Mbakwe, Parker DL Jeremiah Beaman, Spanish Fort LB Sterling Dixon, Central-Phenix City DB Rydarrius Morgan and DL Isaia Faga, Brookwood OL William Sanders, Gadsden City DB Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., and Patrician Academy TE Jay Lindsey.
