Quarterfinals: Vote now for the best Alabama football team of all time

Round 1 for the best Alabama football team of all time is in the books. AL.com received thousands of votes the past few days from fans deciding which teams they felt would be victorious in the opening round matchups.

2009 defeated 1934 with 85 percent of the votes; 1979 defeated 2014 with 77 percent of the votes; 2011 defeated 1966 with 55 percent of the votes; 1992 defeated 2017 with 70 percent of the votes; 2020 defeated 1925 with 92 percent of the votes; 1978 defeated 1966 with 63 percent of the votes; 2015 defeated 1965 with 90 percent of the votes; and 2012 defeated 2018 with 75 percent of the votes.

We now move on to the quarterfinals of AL.com’s best Alabama football team of all time bracket. Voting will take place May 18-21 for the quarterfinals, May 21-24 for the semifinals and May 24-27 for the championship, exclusively on AL.com.
