Pressure cookers sold at Target, Walmart recalled after 106 reports of burns
A popular pressure cooker brand has issued a recall due to reports it could cause burns.
More than 1.8 million SharkNinja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers have been recalled, according to a notice from the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The pressure cookers have lids that can be opened during use, causing hot contents to escape, posing a burn risk to users.
As of May 2, the company has received 106 reports of burns, including more than 50 reports of second- or third-degree burns, with 26 lawsuits filed.
The pressure cookers were sold at Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, Amazon, and Target stores nationwide in-store and online, as well as online at www.Ninjakitchen.com. You can go here to see product code numbers.
The pressure cookers were sold from January 2019 through March 2025 for about $200.
