Predawn shooting at Pelham home leaves 1 injured
An investigation is underway after a predawn shooting in Pelham.
The shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. Friday at 66 LB Road, according to Chief Brent Sugg.
Police said the homeowner had some type of interaction with another person. That led to the homeowner firing shots.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the abdomen and the leg and was taken to the hospital. The severity of the injuries was not immediately known.
The homeowner is undergoing questioning. Investigators said they believe the two know each other.
