Thompson, which has won seven straight games since opening the season with back-to-back losses to quality out of state teams, received two first-place votes. Hoover and Theodore received one each.

Just three points separate the top three teams in this week’s poll – Thompson, Saraland and Hoover. Thompson and Hoover play Friday night in Alabaster. Saraland travels to play Theodore.
