Postal service job fairs: What are the jobs and how much do they pay?
The U.S. Postal Service is hosting a series of job fairs in an effort to fill hundreds of positions across Alabama.
The Wynn Drive Post Office, located at 645 Wynn Drive in Huntsville, will host a career fair Jan. 20 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The fair will cover positions available in Athens, Brownsboro, Decatur, Elkmont, Florence, Hartselle, Harvest, Hazel Green, Lacey Springs, Madison, Meridian Ville, Owens Crossroads, and Toney.

Another series of job fairs will be held Jan. 21 from 9 a.m. at noon at the Auburn Post Office (300 Opelika Road) and Skyland Station (3201 Skyland Blvd). Jobs in the Auburn and Tuscaloosa areas, as well as Starkville and Oxford, Mississippi, will be covered.
Positions for all the job fairs include Assistant Rural Carrier and Rural Carrier Associate (RCA), each at $19.50 per hour; and City Carrier Assistant at $18.92 per hour.
