A popular Shelby County steakhouse has decided to change its focus and close the public dining part of the business.

The Steakhouse of Helena, open since 2022, announced through social media that it is focusing on a “long-term catering contract that aligns with our passion for creating unforgettable food experiences.”

Located on Helena Road in Old Town Helena, the steakhouse had a reputation for a consistently changing menu, according to The Shelby County Reporter.

In announcing the move, the restaurant thanked diners and employees for creating “a place where we’ve had the privilege of serving and connecting with all of you.”

“Your dedication, hard work, and heart created not just meals, but memories,” the announcement reads. “Thank you for making this transition with us. We can’t wait to work with you on this new venture.”
