Popular restaurant chain changes way customers pay

Chili’s is partnering with Ziosk at more than 1,100 locations to simplify its payment process.

Customers can pay the bill at the table using Ziosk tablets, streamlining the process and allowing for more efficient service.

The Dallas-based pay-at-the-table platform said this will affect about 90% of the Chili’s locations.

It will also allow customers to enroll and engage with the My Chili’s Rewards program, as well as play games at their tables.

Adopting the platform came after a successful pilot program with the restaurant, according to the company.

“Today’s casual dining industry is as competitive as ever, and Chili’s continues to lead in team member and guest satisfaction,” Ziosk CEO Rhonda Levene said. “We are thrilled to return to Chili’s nationwide, giving guests the gift of time. We are committed to being a strategic partner in Chili’s success, driving operational excellence and delivering an unparalleled dining experience.”

Brinker International, which owns Chili’s Grill & Bar, Maggiano’s Little Italy and the It’s Just Wings, said the table tablets will improve the experience for customers and workers.

“Beyond the in-person touchpoints of saving guests’ time, simplifying the payment process and even having fun while playing games, Ziosk provides us the tools to constantly improve as a brand and gives us more opportunities to make everyone feel special,” Brinker Chief Supply Chain Officer James Butler said.
