Fans of Popeye’s Cajun Flounder sandwich are in for some good news. The popular limited edition sandwich is back for Lent, which starts March 5.

The sandwich features a breaded and fried flounder filet topped with pickles and sauce and served on a brioche bun. It also comes in two flavors: Classic with tartar sauce or as a Spicy with spicy spread.

Here’s Popeye’s official description of the sandwich:

“Caught in the icy waters of the Pacific, Popeyes flounder filet is light, flakey and seasoned in a blend of the Louisiana brand’s Cajun seasoning. Dusted in a crispy southern coating and fried up golden brown, the Cajun Flounder Sandwich delivers the flavor and crunch one would expect to find at a local dockside fish shack.”

Popeye’s Cajun Flounder sandwich made its debut in 2022. The Louisiana-based fast food joint was inspired by the fervor from the 2019 release of its chicken sandwich.
