Popular farm supply and home decor store opens another Alabama location
Farm and home supply retailer Rural King will hold a grand opening for its Jasper store on Friday, April 4, at 7 a.m.
Rural King is located inside the Jasper Mall in the site of the former Kmart, and will occupy an almost 90,000-square-foot space, according to the Walker County Chamber of Commerce.
The store will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Grand opening festivities will take place from Friday through Sunday. Loyalty members will earn double points on qualifying purchases and can enter to win 100 $25 gift cards.
The Jasper store will feature brands including Carhartt, Blackstone, Big Green Egg, Ariat, Under Armour, Black Rifle Coffee Co., Walnut Creek Foods and Henry Rifles. There are products for livestock, pets, birds, automotive needs, power equipment, power tools, grilling, food and cleaning products.
Last month, Rural King opened its fifth Alabama location in Saraland.
Since its founding in Mattoon, Ill. in 1960, Rural King has grown to more than 130 stores in fourteen states.
