Popular chip brand has a new flavor heading to shelves soon

Fans of Ruffles chips are in for some good news.

The chip brand is launching a limited-edition Korean-Style Sweet & Spicy Chili ridged potato chips.

The new Ruffles flavor will hit retailer shelves nationwide on June 17, according to All Recipes. The new Korean-Style Sweet & Spicy Chili chips will have a profile similar to Korean fried chicken and its gochujang-sugar sauce.

More limited edition chips

In April, Lays released a line of potato chips with nostalgic flavors.

Flavor That Hits Home, the potato chip company’s latest collection, was inspired by four different regions of the United States, reports Food & Wine. The four flavors include Lay’s BLT Sandwich, Lay’s Crispy Taco, Lay’s Fried Pickles with Ranch, and Lay’s Kettle-Cooked Lime & Cracked Pepper.

Earlier this year, IHOP teamed up with Lay’s to launch a potato chip version of its signature fruit-topped pancake special, the Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity. The potato chip flavor is now at Walmart stores for a limited time.
