Popular Chick-fil-A location closing for renovations

A popular Chick-fil-A location is closing for renovations.

Starting Jan. 4 at 4 p.m., the restaurant at Clift Farm on Highway 72 in Madison County will be closed. An exact time for the shutdown hasn’t been announced but a social media post said it will last “for a few weeks.”

“We will keep you up to date on our progress via social media and can’t wait to re-open with some new updates to better serve you in just a few short weeks,” the post said.

Responding to a social media question, restaurant operators said the construction would mainly “pertain to enlarging the drive-thru area inside the restaurant” to allow for more efficiency. They added that the in-restaurant playground would remain.

The Chick-fil-A in Clift Farm opened in 2021. It replaced a location about a mile away on Highway 72.

Dinners in search of chicken sandwiches and waffle fries were advised to visit the newest Chick-fil-A in Town Madison at 110 Tom Thrasher Lane.
