Popular Birmingham restaurant closing US 280 location after 5 years, Homewood spot reopening
Real & Rosemary is closing its location at Birmingham’s The Summit after five years.
The restaurant’s owners made the announcement in a social media post.
“We are grateful to our customers for your support through the years,” the post reads. “We will continue to serve you in Homewood, Crestline, and at Caveat Coffee.”
The Homewood location will reopen this week after closing following a fire April 1 involving an air conditioning unit.
The Crestline location is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“We appreciate your continued support, and we look forward to serving you soon,” the restaurant announced.
Real & Rosemary occupied the former Zöe’s Kitchen location near the AMC Summit 16 Theater when it opened in 2020.
The restaurant serves salads and sides, home-cooked vegetables and roasted and grilled meats, with dishes such as Spice Rubbed Chicken, Roasted Turkey, Flounder Cakes and Homemade Braised Meatballs.
