A Birmingham metro area pizzeria is coming to Birmingham’s Uptown this fall.

Capella Pizzeria, home of wood-fired pizzas using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and traditional Italian techniques, will be located next to Mugshots Grill & Bar, across from Uptown Cantina.

The restaurant has locations in Trussville and Inverness.

“Capella Pizzeria is the perfect addition to the Uptown entertainment district,” Tad Snider, BJCC CEO said. “Situated alongside Southern Kitchen, Uptown Cantina, and the new Dillard’s Chophouse, it’s exciting to see Uptown’s expanding offerings, which will undoubtedly enhance the experience for BJCC and downtown Birmingham visitors.”

Capella Pizzeria’s menu will include signature pizzas, with salads, Italian wines, international bottled beers and desserts.
