Police trying to ID suspect in Montgomery homicide
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a deadly shooting in Montgomery.
Takata Floyd, 31, was killed Sept. 5.
Officers and fire medics responded to the 500 block of Percy Drive around 10:40 p.m. that Monday on a call of a person shot. When they arrived, they found Floyd dead on the scene.
Central Alabama Crime Stoppers on Thursday announced a $1,000 reward for information leading investigators to the suspect.
A video from the scene showed the unknown suspect, wearing a black face cover and white gloves, chasing the victim with what appears to be a gun through the apartment complex.
