Police investigating shooting death of 26-year-old man in Montgomery
An investigation is underway after a man died from a gunshot wound in Montgomery.
Police and fire medics were dispatched at 6:11 a.m. Monday to a report of person shot in the area of East Patton Avenue and Norman Bridge Road, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
They arrived to find 26-year-old Renardo Williams of Montgomery injured. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Coleman said the death is unclassified for now as the investigation continues.
