Pizza chain opening locations inside Walmart

Texas-based pizza chain Mr. Gatti’s has announced plans to team up with Walmart .

Mr. Gatti’s plans to open 92 stores in four states in the coming years, reports SIlive.com.

“Driven by the retailer’s focus on value and quality, Walmart approached us about a partnership, because it recognized Mr Gatti’s as a regional favorite with a 55-year legacy of delivering exceptional taste and experiences to our customers,” Mr. Gatti’s Pizza CEO Jim Phillips said in a release.

According to SIlive.com, Mr Gatti’s Pizza stated it plans to have restaurants in four states — Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Kentucky, a dozen of which will open by the end of this year. It currently operates in eight states, including two locations in Alabama – Dadeville and Opelika with an Auburn restaurant listed as “coming soon.”

Mr. Gatti’s Pizza will offer menu items like pizzas, wings, sandwiches, salads and more, reports LoneStarLive. Walmart shoppers will be able to place orders for pickup through the Gatti’s app. The locations will also offer delivery for some residents.
