Peyton Manning gets trolled by brother Eli after Emmy win
Eli Manning never lets an opportunity pass where he can have a little fun at Peyton Manning’s expense.
On Tuesday, a day after Peyton Manning won his second Sports Emmy in three years, this time for Outstanding Event Analyst, Eli Manning took to social media to congratulate big brother … sort of.
“Big congrats to Peyton on the Sports Emmy,” the former New York Giants quarterback posted. “Amazing what a guy can accomplish with a solid co-host carrying him every week.”
Peyton Manning appears to just be getting started with his broadcasting career.
On Tuesday night, ESPN announced that Manning is set to lead a new docuseries for ESPN+ called “NFL Mind Games.”
According to a release, it’ll explore the mental side of football from game planning to leadership to those split-second decisions under pressure.
Manning will serve as executive producer and appear on-screen throughout the series.
ESPN also confirmed that the ManningCast will return for a fourth season with an expanded schedule of 12 games, including two playoff matchups.
“We’re just getting started,” Manning said in his acceptance speech Tuesday. “There’s always more to explore in this game.”
