A national pet resort is planning to open its first location in Birmingham this spring.

Pet Paradise will be located at 6265 Tattersall Blvd. There is no anticipated opening date listed yet.

Based in Jacksonville, Fla, Pet Paradise is a comprehensive pet care, health, and wellness provider located in 11 states with more than 50 open nationwide.

Locations are currently under construction in Tennessee – in Murfreesboro and Chattanooga.

The chain offers comprehensive pet care with boarding, day camp and grooming.

Locations offer amenities such as an outdoor bone-shaped swimming pool and splash pad, synthetic grass play areas, full-service grooming spa, a shaded play yard with misting stations, and Tiny Town, which accommodates dogs under 30 pounds.

Pet Paradise also has an on-site veterinary clinic and a live-in pet care specialist, and offers monthly wellness plans, day camp access, basic diagnostic testing and vaccinations.
