The city of Huntsville has issued building permits for a $15 million upgrade to the Von Braun Center and for a more than $15 million apartment complex in the Village of Providence.

They are the most expensive projects issued permits in the Huntsville area since April 1, according to Southern Exposure Information. Overall, 208 permits have been issued in Madison, Limestone and Morgan Counties between April 1-17 totaling $69.9 million.
