Permit issued for $22 million Crestwood emergency department in Harvest
Madison County issued a permit last week for Crestwood Medical Center’s free-standing emergency department in Harvest.
The permit was issued to Doster Construction for a nearly $10 million project at 1337 Burwell Road. Construction is expected to cost $22 million when complete.
It was the most expensive project issued a permit last week in Madison, Morgan and Limestone counties, according to Southern Exposure Information. It was one of three commercial projects in the area to exceed $1 million in construction.
A total of 125 permits were issued for projects in the three counties topping more than $41 million. Madison County issued 84 of the permits, totaling $27.2 million.
Huntsville issued 26 permits totaling almost $9 million. Madison issued 10 for $3.7 million and Decatur five for $1.2 million.
