Pennsylvania quadruplets graduate this weekend from University of Alabama

The Hansen siblings never planned in high school to all attend the same college. But the Pennsylvania quadruplets did, and they found themselves in Alabama.

The siblings are from Blue Bell, a suburb of Philadelphia. And over the course of the weekend, they all four received their diplomas from the University of Alabama.

Michaela graduated Friday, while Annagrace, Chloe and Max received their degrees during the university’s commencement ceremonies today.

According to a story posted by the University of Alabama’s News Center, the quadruplets arrived to Tuscaloosa for different reasons. Chloe, a criminal justice major, said she was interested in playing lacrosse at LaSalle University, but chose Alabama because she was impressed with the campus, the article states.

Annagrace, a marketing major, and Max, a finance major, both wanted to go to a school in the South. Max admitted in the article that he grew up an Auburn fan, but that his parents encouraged him to go to Alabama.

Michaela, an education major, said she and Chloe — identical twins — have “always done everything together,” including attending the university, the article states.

The quadruplets, ahead of graduation, also met with University of Alabama President Stuart Bell.
