Pelham High School linebacker Will Felton on Thursday became the latest in-state standout to commit to South Alabama for the 2024 recruiting class.

Felton (6-foot-2, 215 pounds) chose the Jaguars over scholarship offers from North Alabama, Alabama State and Richmond, among other schools. He took an official visit to Mobile last weekend and announced his commitment via Twitter:

Felton is South Alabama’s 10th verbal commitment for 2024, all of which have come since June 18. Seven of those players hail from inside the state of Alabama.

The early signing period for high school players begins in late December.
