A pedestrian was struck and killed in Montgomery over the weekend.

Police on Monday identified the fatality victim as 37-year-old Noe Amadeo Majia of Montgomery.

Capt. Saba Coleman said Majia was struck by a Nissan Altima in the area of Troy Highway at Virginia Loop Road. The crash happened at 5:35 a.m. Sunday, and Majia was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
