A pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday morning in Albertville.

Marshall County Coroner Cody Nugent said the incident happened at around 4:50 a.m., on U.S. 431 near the Massey Road intersection.

Nugent said the pedestrian, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Albertville Fire assisted in the incident, which is under investigation.
