A pedestrian was fatally struck Monday evening in Blount County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Amber L. Huffman. She was 30.

The crash happened at 5:12 p.m. on Alabama 75, about two miles north of Snead.

Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey said Huffman, of Boaz, was struck by a Honda Civic driven by Christian A. Doggett, 24, of Guntersville.

Huffman was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
