A pedestrian was killed in a single-vehicle traffic fatality in Mobile County on Saturday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The victim was identified as Joseph L. Williams II, 43, of Semmes. ALEA said that Williams was walking in the roadway at about 11:02 p.m. when he was struck by a 2014 Ford F-150.

The crash occurred on Howells Ferry Road near Graham Road, approximately one mile north of Mobile.

Williams sustained fatal wounds and died at the scene of the accident.
