Pedestrian on highway killed after being hit by car in Baldwin County
A pedestrian died after they were struck by a car Friday night while walking on I-10 in Baldwin County, authorities said Tuesday.
The victim, whose identity was not publicly released pending identification by the state Department of Forensic Sciences, was struck by a 2013 Hyundai Sonata around 9:40 p.m. Friday on I-10 near the 61-mile marker, about seven miles east of Robertsdale, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
