Pedestrian killed in early morning North Alabama crash
A pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash early Tuesday morning in Lawrence County.
Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the incident happened at about 5:50 a.m. Tuesday on Alabama 24 near Lawrence 359, about five miles southwest of Trinity.
Curtis O. Robinson, 23, of Decatur, was fatally injured when he was struck by a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Zachary D. Yasson, 36, of Moulton.
Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division will continue to investigate.
