A Childersburg man died after being struck by multiple vehicles on Friday evening, according to local law enforcement.

Terrence Collins, 30, was struck on Highway 280 near Coosa Pines Drive at 11:04 p.m., according to the Childersburg Police Department.

All drivers remained at the scene and were cooperative, according to the police.

Collins was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Collins family during this difficult time,” the police said in a Facebook post.
