Pedestrian killed after being struck by car in Montgomery

A pedestrian was killed Friday after he was hit by a car in Montgomery, police said Monday.

Police and fire medics responded to East South Boulevard near Sussex Drive around 10:50 p.m. Friday on a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

Authorities found a 2018 Dodge Charger at the scene. The driver and passengers in the vehicles did not sustain any injuries.

The pedestrian was identified as Lazarick Pace, 43, of Montgomery. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
