A pedestrian died Tuesday, two days after he was hit by a car in Mobile County, authorities said Thursday.

Ethan M. Partridge, 20, of Eight Mile, was in the roadway of Gaynor Road near Cheyenne Parkway — about four miles northwest of Prichard — when he was struck by a 2008 Lexus IS520 around 2:15 a.m. Sunday, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson.

Partridge was taken to USA Hospital in Mobile, where he was pronounced dead Tuesday, said Thompson.
