Pedestrian, 25, struck and killed in southeast Alabama, coroner says
A 25-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed over the weekend in southeast Alabama, the Coffee County coroner said Tuesday.
Russell David Frei was standing in the northbound lane of Ozark Highway in Enterprise when he was hit by a vehicle around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, said Coroner Arnold Woodham.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find Frei dead, Woodham said.
Enterprise police and Woodham’s office are investigating the incident, the coroner said.
