‘Pawn Stars’ season 22 premiere: How to watch and where to stream

An all new season of Pawn Stars will premiere on the History Channel tonight at 9/8c.

During tonight’s episode, Rick prepares for battle over a pair of vintage posters.

Later in the episode, Rick and Chum call on the power of Grayskull as they check out a large Battle Cat toy. Meanwhile, Corey takes a look at an old fireman’s megaphone.

Those who have ditched basic cable can still stream tonight’s premiere live and keep up with current episodes with Philo or Sling.

What is Philo and Sling?

Philo is one of the cheaper streaming services available charging its users only $25 a month with over 60 channels to choose from live and on-demand.

Live channels offered by the streaming service include Lifetime, Hallmark, MTV, VH1, AMC, HGTV, the Discovery Channel, CMT, BET and more.

New users can also take advantage of Philo’s free trial and watch Pawn Stars and other TV shows for free before committing to anything.

Sling is also one of the cheaper live streaming services available. It offers three different channel packages for its users: Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Orange + Blue.

Sling Blue and Sling Orange are both $40 per month, but offer different channel selections.

The main difference between the two packages is the line of ESPN channels offered with Sling Orange as opposed to channels such as Fox News, MSNBC, Discovery and Bravo offered with Sling Blue.

Meanwhile, Sling Orange + Blue is simply both packages combined for $55 a month. Users can access the History Channel with any of these packages.

Be sure to check out the full breakdown between all three packages here.

More about Pawn Stars

The History Channel’s official description of Pawn Stars is as follows:

Long before banks, ATMS and check-cashing services, there were pawn shops. Pawning was the leading form of consumer credit in the United States until the 1950s, and pawn shops are still helping everyday people make ends meet.

Pawn Stars takes you inside the colorful world of the pawn business. At the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop on the outskirts of Las Vegas, three generations of the Harrison family–grandfather Richard, son Rick and grandson Corey–jointly run the family business, and there’s clashing and camaraderie every step of the way.

The three men use their sharp eyes and skills to assess the value of items from the commonplace to the truly historic, including a 16th-century samurai sword, a Super Bowl ring, a Picasso painting and a 17th-century stay of execution.

It’s up to them to determine what’s real and what’s fake, as they reveal the often surprising answer to the questions on everyone’s mind, “What’s the story behind it?” and “What’s it worth?”
