The family of Alabama’s largest megachurch has crossed paths with one of Hollywood’s most mega game shows.

Michael Hodges, son of Church of the Highlands founding Pastor Chris Hodges, is a “Wheel of Fortune” game show winner.

Hodges, from Birmingham, appeared on the program that aired Dec. 7, and won $52,650.

In the bonus round, he solved a puzzle answering the question, “What are you doing?” The answer was “Opening a jar.”

Hodges was formerly a pastor at the Greystone campus of the Church of the Highlands and now serves as vice president of spiritual development for Highlands College.

He and his wife, Katy, have two children.

Michael is one of five children of Pastor Chris Hodges and his wife, Tammy.
