Paramount+ Super Bowl ad with Tua Tagovailoa, Drew Barrymore goes viral

Tua Tagovailoa has proven he can deliver on the biggest of football stages.

No, the Miami quarterback isn’t playing in upcoming Super Bowl. That’s Brock Purdy and his San Francisco 49ers against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.

The former Alabama quarterback is featured – alongside the likes of Drew Barrymore, Patrick Stewart and Creed – in a Paramount+ ad set for the Super Bowl, and it is already trending.

The Paramount Plus spot features a group of characters who have to find a way over “Paramount Mountain,” and apparently have to throw Arnold from “Hey Arnold” over the mountain. When Tagovailoa refuses, Stewart, acting as Star Trek character Jean-Luc Picard, volunteers with a little help from Creed in a dramatic end.

This commercial throws in a number of CBS elements, which certainly entertain.

Paramount+, which offers a 7-day free trial, features more than 20,000 episodes and movies from ViacomCBS family, which includes CBS, Comedy Central, BET, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures and more.

There are two tiers to the streaming service. For $5.99 per month, you get limited commercials. For $11.99 per month, there are no commercials. Both tiers come with the 7-day free trial.
