Panhandle man wins $1 million Florida Lottery prize twice in 6 months
An Escambia County (Fla.) man has won a $1 million prize for playing a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.
Again.
For the second time in six months, 58-year-old Scottie Grant of Molino, Fla., won the $1 million prize in Florida Lottery’s “500X THE CASH” scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery, according to WEAR.
Grant won his first million playing the same game back in December, with a ticket he purchased at the Lucky Penny store in Pensacola, according to the Florida Lottery website.
This time, Grant purchased his winning ticket at the Circle Food Mart in Pensacola.
“I’m back,” he reportedly said in cashing in his second winner the lottery’s headquarters in Tallahassee.
In both cases, Grant opted for the one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000, according to the report.
